Week 24

Holaaa! 


I hope you are all doing soo well!! 
I love and miss you all so much!


First things first, I feel like time is just FLYING by, like what??!
It's already the last week of this transfer!
It's already almost the middle of April??
So crazy!


This week was so so fun and so so crazy busy! 
We had another exchange this week, I went to Licey with Hermana Biddold! Licey is gorgeous, its a campo! Wayy different vibes from where I'm at in Bella Vista! I'm more in the city and honestly when I was gone, I missed the loud colmado music and motorcycles everywhere! But it was gorgeous there! She extended her mission and has been out 19 months! She's such an amazing missionary and I'm so glad I was able to spend some time with her and learn so much from her!  


Miracle of the week 
Okay so fun story
It was raining all day then the rain stopped, we were on top of a mountain and we were just starting to walk down, when all of the sudden we heard "baby" from Justin Bieber, so obviously we had to stop and listen for a minute because Justin Bieber is the BEST! After the song ended we continued to walk down the mountain when all of the sudden we saw a rainbow, it kept getting brighter and brighter so we watched it for a little bit while it continued to grow, then a second rainbow started to form. It was beautiful, but while we were there watching a rainbow this lady came out of her house to look at the rainbow as well. She asked us if we were the missionaries and we were like "yes!!!" and she told us she's a member of the church and she's inactive but she wants us to come teach her and her kids and she wants to start coming to church again! God distracted us because he wanted us to come in contact with this lady! God works in mysterious ways and is SO good! Everyone keep Karlina and her family in your prayers! 


Highlight of my week 
We had dinner at Franklins house on Sunday night! He's the best member ever!!! 
After we finished eating Hermana Lowry called Franklin! I got to talk to her for a few minutes, it was the best thing ever!!! If you're reading this Lowry, I LOVE YOU!!!!

Heyyy!!! Im loving life here in the DR! SO MUCH FUN!!!! this week was crazyyy!!!  This week we had exchanges! On Friday morning the Hermana leaders came to our apartment and picked me up and I said bye to my companion for 24 hours! The hermana leaders are a threesome so it was me, Hermana Dominguez, and Hermana Torrez. We headed to their apartment in a different area of Santiago but it was only about 20 minutes from my area. We had lunch (Hermana Torrez can COOK!!!) we did companion study, then headed out for the day! Their area was popey (rich) haha! It was beautiful, flowers everywhere!! But the people weren't as friendly. But we got ice cream from BON for dinner and it was good but not as good as my mom and grandpa's homemade ice cream!! The next day I headed back home and I missed my companion! I love my area so much and my comp so much!  We have been speaking only Spanish in the streets and I think it's been helping me a ton! Hola hola cómo están? Hey hey how's everyone doing? I hope you are all doing so so good and I just want you to all know I miss you so much! This week was so speedy!  And not anything really special happened. It definitely was a little bit of a harder week but with God anythings possible. But I saw a few wonderful miracles. Uur friend Jenny. She told us she wanted to go to church but she only had money to get to church, not to get back home. But she took a step of faith and God worked out the rest of the details like He always does.  We had zone conference and it was so so good. The thing that stuck most with me was becoming a disciple of Jesus Christ, not just a missionary. We also talked about keeping the end in mind as missionaries and our goal as missionaries is to baptize people who are converted to Jesus Christ. It was a really good conference. Week 9

HEY EVERYONE!!!! Hows everyone doing?? On December 12th I got to the DR! It was a long day of travel but we made it! We flew from Mexico to Florida then from Florida to the DR! We got on our second flight to Santiago and the plane was full of natives. I tried to talk to this cute old man sitting next to me but I swear he wasn't speaking Spanish hahaha. That's when I knew I was in for a wild ride.  We got to Santiago and went to President Bretóns house! We spent the night there and in the morning they had a Dominican breakfast ready for us! It was really good! Then we headed to the mission office and had orientation. Then we got to meet our companions! My comp is so awesome! Her name is Hermana Lowry! She's been out in the field for almost 16 months! She's an incredible missionary and I love her!! We headed to our area and I'm in Bella Vista!  The people here are so awesome!  We mostly teach kids and women! The kids absolutely love to hear the gospel!  Since I'm ...
