Hey everyone how's it going!!! I hope you are all having the best summer EVER! hags!
Anyway this whole mission thing is greatttt
If you are thinking about a mission, do it!
This week was so good, another fast, hardworking, hot week!!
Let's get into it!!!
Highlights
On our long 40 minute walk home one night, there was this man on the main road, with his roller skates on, headphones in, just dancing and cruising down the main road. His vibes were immaculate and it made my whole day. I strive to be as happy as the roller skating man.
We were walking in the street and all the sudden my comp is like "help help!" and about half the neighbourhood came running to help. A bug flew into her eye and then peed in it and her eye was like swollen for a few hours. But every lesson we went to, everyone was so concerned for her! The people here are so kind.
We were walking in the streets one day and we felt like the whole world was rejecting us, then we came across this little boy. He was probably 10 years old and he had a hose. He was spraying water in the potholes in the road and then he would jump in the puddles he made. He was just enjoying his life and nothing could take away from his joy. I thought, how can this little boy find so much joy in a mud puddle?
Then I thought, Christ is like the puddle in the middle of the broken road. He is always there and when we go to Him we can find true joy.
We helped our friend open guandules, they are kind of like peas and it reminded me of my garden at home with my mom and made me so happy.
I hit 8 months!!! HOWW??? Loving life here, its just flying by!
Spiritual!!
I was thinking about opposition. There is opposition in all things. Jesus and Satan. Good and Bad. Happy and Sad. Hungry and Full. Relaxed and Stressed. True and a Lie.
I was thinking about life. We have hard days, weeks, months, and sometimes even years when we are struggling. But in 2 Nephi 2: 11 - 13 it talks about opposition. And without the bad we wouldn't know the good. Even though the hard times are sometimes more than we think we can bear, we can always turn to our Savior Jesus Christ and find strength in Him and when the bad times eventually pass, the good times are 100x better!!!
