Week 41

Heyyy how's everyone doing?
I love you all and hope you are all doing so, so good!!! 
This week was so good and the work is a blast with Hrmn Ramirez.  I just love her with my entire heart .


We did so much this week I don't even know where to start.


We had an exchange because my comp went to Santo Domingo to get her residency and i missed her so much!


One of our friends invited me to marriage.


We really want to strengthen this ward we are serving in so we texted all 55 of the hermanas in our ward to visit them and strengthen our relationship with them and every. single. hermana. responded... we have 55 hermanas to visit this week, send us luck hahaha.


We got an incredible reference this week. Her name is Yissel!! She's perfect and golden and so so ready for the gospel. We have only had one lesson but she came to church on Sunday and participated in class! I'm so excited to continue getting to know her! Everyone keep her in your prayers!!


We laughed a lot this week


After mission correlation we got icecream with the elders and it was a blast


The biggest miracle ever 
One of our recent converts, she was baptized before I got here and so we don't know her but and an incident happened with some members after she was baptised and she doesn't want anything to do with the church and she doens't want to meet us. She won't even respond to our texts. We decided to heart attack her door and leave cute notes. We found out where she lived by asking the old hermanas and then finding her apartment on google maps and circle what apartment she lived in. We got to the location and we hoped with all our hearts it was the right apartment. We walk up the stairwell and people were inside the apartment so we quietly tape the hearts on the door, and all of a sudden someone opens the door and we SPRINT away. We left the hearts on her door, a cute note, and some banana cake. We sit outside for a second trying to calm down and go on with our day. Later we find ourselves in the pharmacy for Hrmn Ramirez and we look at the phone and she texted us!!!! She told us thank you and that we can go visit her sometime next week!!! On Saturday I drank a whole bunch of water and ate so much cause we were fasting and I didn't want to colapse in the street so all of Saturday I walked around the streets looking pregnant hahaha 


I think my comp and I laugh 24/7


President sent out a new rule. Because the temperature is SO high and the sun just hurts, we are not able to leave the house until 4pm 


This week a haitian lady braided my hair and honeslty I've never felt so much pain but i looked awesome


This area is very strange because we go from teaching one person in literally a mansion to teaching people who live in an abandoned home


I lost my first tag in the street, rip


Something I've learned out on the mission, if you have a bad attitude you will have an awful dreadful time but if you have a happy attitude you will have a blast.
Life is all about perspective 


I think that's all!


spiritual thought 
This week I studied a little about the creation and read so many amazing scriptures but my favorite is 
Genesis 26 
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.


We are all children of God and we were all created in His image. We are all masterpieces of God, all different, and He created us perfectly how He wanted. He's an artist. We all have the divine potential to become like God and we are here on earth to learn and grow, gain experiences so one day we can literally become like God.

Heyyy!!! Im loving life here in the DR! SO MUCH FUN!!!! this week was crazyyy!!!  This week we had exchanges! On Friday morning the Hermana leaders came to our apartment and picked me up and I said bye to my companion for 24 hours! The hermana leaders are a threesome so it was me, Hermana Dominguez, and Hermana Torrez. We headed to their apartment in a different area of Santiago but it was only about 20 minutes from my area. We had lunch (Hermana Torrez can COOK!!!) we did companion study, then headed out for the day! Their area was popey (rich) haha! It was beautiful, flowers everywhere!! But the people weren't as friendly. But we got ice cream from BON for dinner and it was good but not as good as my mom and grandpa's homemade ice cream!! The next day I headed back home and I missed my companion! I love my area so much and my comp so much!  We have been speaking only Spanish in the streets and I think it's been helping me a ton! Hola hola cómo están? Hey hey how's everyone doing? I hope you are all doing so so good and I just want you to all know I miss you so much! This week was so speedy!  And not anything really special happened. It definitely was a little bit of a harder week but with God anythings possible. But I saw a few wonderful miracles. Uur friend Jenny. She told us she wanted to go to church but she only had money to get to church, not to get back home. But she took a step of faith and God worked out the rest of the details like He always does.  We had zone conference and it was so so good. The thing that stuck most with me was becoming a disciple of Jesus Christ, not just a missionary. We also talked about keeping the end in mind as missionaries and our goal as missionaries is to baptize people who are converted to Jesus Christ. It was a really good conference. Week 9

HEY EVERYONE!!!! Hows everyone doing?? On December 12th I got to the DR! It was a long day of travel but we made it! We flew from Mexico to Florida then from Florida to the DR! We got on our second flight to Santiago and the plane was full of natives. I tried to talk to this cute old man sitting next to me but I swear he wasn't speaking Spanish hahaha. That's when I knew I was in for a wild ride.  We got to Santiago and went to President Bretóns house! We spent the night there and in the morning they had a Dominican breakfast ready for us! It was really good! Then we headed to the mission office and had orientation. Then we got to meet our companions! My comp is so awesome! Her name is Hermana Lowry! She's been out in the field for almost 16 months! She's an incredible missionary and I love her!! We headed to our area and I'm in Bella Vista!  The people here are so awesome!  We mostly teach kids and women! The kids absolutely love to hear the gospel!  Since I'm ...
