Week 52

hola! ¿cómo están? espero que estén bien <3
This week absolutely flew by but at the same time is was so slow, but every single day was full of a new adventure and I'm so grateful I am able to have the experiences I am having and  am learning the things I am learning. Thank you to everyone who is helping to make it happen :)

There is a new park in our area and since it's new it's always busy, but on Tuesday it was a down pour and nobody goes to the park when it's raining. So since it was empty when we passed it, we most definitely took a pitstop and laughed our hearts outs, swinging in the rain for a few minutes.

We had zone conference this week and it was so so good to see all my friends and be able to learn how I can improve personally as a missionary. It was such a motivational conference.

We had so many fire lessons this week. Keep our friends in your prayers. especially,
Anaís
Sultana and Frante
Wilda
Yeykena
Rafaeli
The Beltre couple
The Zapata couple

Something that stuck out to me at zone conference is that we can find new people to teach in many different ways. Contacting in the street, references from members, door knocking, social media references and many more.
This week we decided to try and visit all the social media references we have recieved.
On Saturday we left our house and we walked from 3 until 8:45 and all of our lessons fell through. Until we showed up at our social media reference house. She recieved us with open arms and we had the most spiritual lesson. We read in Romans 8 and finished with verse 38 and 39.
"For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
After we read this verse, she sat there quietly and you could see her eyes reading that verse, again and again. After about a minute she looked up at us and said "where is the church?"
My comp and I looked at each other in shock. Like did she really extend our invitation for us? She is sooo ready for the gosepl and even though we were rejected all day long, after walking for 6 hours straight, that led us to our friend Yeykena.
It was such a spiritual filled lesson and I truly know that God is in every detail.

I lowkey got so sick this week I thought I was going to die in the calle but God gave me strength and we got the work done.

There was a ward party and the members were going harddd, they pulled on the microphone and sang and had a dominican dance partyyyy. It was the time of my life.

On Saturday night, in the middle of the night, all the sudden the co2 alarm went off and I don't remember anything but apparently all the hermanas in the house had to drag me out of the room from my bed to the outside because I wouldn't move hahaha. But they set up beds on the balcony and we had a fun sleepover, and when I woke up let's just say i was a little confused. haha

The work is popping off right now. Everyone keep our area and all our friends in your prayers :)

spiritual thought
This week I was studying about compassion and how Christ is compassionate. How having compassion is having a deep love for someone, having charity for someone.
In the scriptures, Christ has compassion for everyone, He has a deep love for everyone. It got me thinking.

Christ is charity
charity never faileth
Christ will never fail us
Because he is full of charity

1 Corinthians 13: 8
Moroni 7: 47
John 15: 13
Alma 7: 11- 12

I know Christ loves us and is full of charity, for everyone of us. He gave His life for us because He loves us. It was the greatest sacrifice.  A great sacrifice and an act of love. He sacrificed His life for us, what can we sacrifice for Him to show our love for Him? What would you sacrifice for Christ?

I love you all and have the greatest week ever, set up decorations for Halloween and send me pictures!
Remember God loves you and to put Him first <3
