Week 54
weyyy klk a todos
This week was LIT
We saw so many miracles
guys
On August 13, 13 weeks ago, Hermana Ramirez and I contacted this lady in the street and told her that God has a divine plan for her.
On November 4, 2023 she made her first covenant with God.
It was Monday, we looked at Jenny's profile in the areabook and started a plan for her. We had to teach her not just 1 commandment but we had to teach her many many things.
We made a plan and hustled our booties to help her understand and help her to apply these principles and see the miracles these things can bring into our lives.
We had faith that the Lord would prepare her mind and help her to accept these principles.
she. accepted. every. one.
Without a doubt in her mind.
On Friday as we were waiting for the district leader to interview her, she pulled out her Book of Mormon and started to read as she waited.
The leader told us she is completely converted unto her Savior.
Shout out to everyone and their prayers.
Jenny was baptised and started her journey towards a lifetime of Discipleship towards her Savior. I am so proud of her and I'm so glad I was able to be here and watch her conversion process towards the Savior and watch the Savior convert her.
She changed her life to follow her Savior.
Jenny is an example of faith to me.
One night after we were all done working, the other companionship pulled out uno. But with all wild cards. It's called wild uno and it was absolutely wild. It was so much fun but definitely we stayed up too late. haha
After Jennys baptism the font wouldn't drain. Everyone was out of the building and we kept trying to push the plug down with a broom but nothing was working.
So we went with out last solution.
My comp jumped in and took a swim.
But hey it was worth it, she got it drained.
Our recent converts made a rap for us about the word of wisdom to the song black and yellow and my favorite line was
"coffee makes your teeth, black and yellow, black and yellow, black and yellow, black and yellow"
it was so funny
I studied the eternal family this week and I am so grateful for my parents decision when they were young to be sealed in the temple.
I know that we can live in exalted families when we live to the precepts of the Gospel and honor our baptismal and temple covenants with God.
Helaman 5: 41
"And Aminadab said unto them: You must repent, and cry unto the voice, even until ye shall have faith in Christ, who was taught unto you by Alma, and Amulek, and Zeezrom; and when ye shall do this, the cloud of darkness shall be removed from overshadowing you."
I ran across this scripture this week during my personal study.
Just as Aminadab said, you must repent. Have a broken heart. A willingness to change. Change. And have faith that Christ can change you.
And then the cloud of darkness shall be removed from overshadowing you.
Repentance is beautiful and just as Prophet Nelson said, we should focus on repentance daily.
Truly Christ will change us and take our clouds of guilt and darkness away when we turn to Him with full purpose of heart everyday with a willingness to change.
It is never too late to change and you are never too far from Christ and His love. (Romans 8: 35-39)
I have witnessed this in my mission. No matter how far you have gone away or how many commandments you have broken, His arms are wide open to recieve you. Nothing can remove you from His love. All you have to do is turn to Him.
Send me an email I'd love to hear from you!
