Week 59

BEST WEEK EVER

full of struggles

but we pushed through, worked hard, and miracles came!!

satan works hard but we work harder

God is good God is love God is full of miracles

I literally want to tell you guys everything that happened, but that would make this email a book

where to start??

We worked HARD, probably the hardest I've worked my entire mission and I'm absolutely exhausted but it was so worth it.
God provided miracles for our hard work.

I was sick againnn. Not quite sure what's going on but maybe it's because the temperature is in the high 70s and not the 100s but we pushed through and I feel tons betterrrr.

One day we were VERY hungry in the streets at like 7 so I bought an empenada from a colmado. This is where I made a mistake.
I KNOW those empenadas sit on the counter in a container for a week without being refrigerated.
Eating one of those is asking to get stomach sick.
But it sounded SO good so I bought it and I enjoyed it.
Will i ever do it again? no
I also advise every one of you to never do that lol
But vale la pena right?

AMBERLYS
A complete miracle
Where do i even start with this girl.
We found her a few weeks ago but we haven't been able to share with her because she is never home.
We passed by on Friday night and she didn't have time to sit down and share so we just invited her to join us in sacrament meeting to learn more about her Savior, then we went on with our day.
On Sunday morning she walked into the chapel!!!
We visited her Sunday night and were teaching about Gods love and she looked like she had a lot of things on her mind.
So i said "do you have any questions?"
She hesitated and then said "how can i get baptized in this church?"
She has such a strong desire to learn more about her Savior and to follow Him.
Her date is for the 23rd of December.
Keep her in your prayer please.

Church was something else.  Usually we have only about 30 people there, 6 of them being missionaries.
But it was different
The chapel was full!
There was a group of youth members from Santiago visiting.
Every seat was full! It was so wonderful
but...
at 9:35 after the sacrament I saw the second counselor walking over to me. I tried hiding from him but it didn't work lol. He squatted down and said "our speaker didn't show up, can you give a talk?"
I had a solid 3 minutes to prepare but God pulled and I pulled out a pretty solid talk about missionary work.
I'm not even sure what I said but I for sure felt the gift of tongues in that moment.
It was so cool.

There is a new park in our area full of lights.  It's so beautiful and to open the park they had a firework show, it was awesome.

We had interviews this week!
They went good! Everytime we have interviews I learn literally so much.
President is so wise.

It's rainy season here and man do I love it.  It's rained almost every day this week and it's just so beautiful.

I'm so grateful for this decision I have made to serve a mission.
The best decision I could have ever made.
I'm so grateful for my Savior and for His love I feel everyday
I know He loves us and He's constantly watching over us.

spiritual
Doctrine and Covenants 84:88
"and whoso receiveth you, there I will be also, for I will go before your face. I will be on your right hand and on your left, and my Spirit shall be in your hearts, and mine angels round about you, to bear you up."

God send angels into the world to comfort us, to warn us, to provide merciful attention, to guide us.
angels can be on this side of the veil
angels can be on the other side of the veil
seen and unseen
known and unknown
mortal and immortal

angels are near

God never leaves us alone

He always provides a comfort, a guide, a tender mercy

We are never alone. He sends angels to minister to us.

you can be an angel

I invite you to pray and ask God who is in need of an angel today and go be an angel in someone's life

alsoooo

go read this talk, its so fire

Have a great week leading up to Christmas! I love you all! Send me an email!
Remember to put God first!
