Week 62
Happy New Year!
I can't believe I was a missionary all of 2023, that year will will definitely hold a very special place in my heart full of memories.
So that means I come home this year, what?? Time is flying by.
We worked hard this week and saw so many miracles. It was crazy.
We decided to go to an area we have never been to this week. We went exploring. We found 24 people in that area and they all accepted a return date for Tuesday. Every single one of them. When we planned to explore we set a goal to find 5 new people and the Lord expanded our efforts as we followed the spirit. It was a day full of miracles.
Also, when you don't have lessons all day and you just contact you get super tired because you end up just walking from 2 until 9 but the people here are so kind and they all invited us into their home to sit down and share a message. I love the people here, they are so kind.
There is this new group of youth members that moved into our ward a few weeks ago. We assumed they were all members but the bishop came up to us yesterday and said "that girl isn't a member" we had NO idea. She has come to church the past 4 weeks and all her friends are members. We contacted her, and had a lesson right then and there with her and a member right after sunday school. We read 3 Nephi 11 and talked about Christ's love and His invitation to come unto Him. We then felt very strongly to invite her to baptism. We read later on in 3 Nephi 11 where it talks about baptism and before extending her the invitation she asked about baptism. She chose a date for January 13th to be baptized. pray for our new miracle friend Inocia.
We recieved a social media reference a week ago and have been teaching him over the phone. His name is Jesus and he is so awesome. He lives 30 minutes on a motorcycle away from the church. On Sunday he arrived to church and told us everything he went through to get there. It was pouring rain and he was on a motorcycle, he full on fell in a river, and he almost ran out of gas but he made it to church and loved it. He lives too far to visit him in person but we gave him his Book of Mormon and he happily took it. He has a date for the 13th of january, keep Jesus in your prayers!
I have no idea how it happened but we ended up finding 56 new people this week. so wild
It was transfers this week and my comp and I are staying together, WAHOO! the work is so much fun with her.
I got horribly sunburt this week hahaha
We decided to start cheffing it up, catch me being a complete chef when I get home
spiritual
I've been studying about the creation
Moses 1: 35 "But only an account of this earth, and the inhabitants thereof, give I unto you. For behold, there are many worlds that have passed away by the word of my power. And there are many that now stand, and innumerable are they unto man; but all things are numbered unto me, for they are mine and I know them"
Alma 30: 44"all things denote there is a God; yea, even the earth, and all things that are upon the face of it, yea, and its motion, yea, and also all the planets which move in their regular form do witness that there is a Supreme Creator."
Through Christ God created the earth and all the other worlds that there are. There are so many that they are innumerable to us, we can't even comprehend the magnitude of God and his power.
As powerful as He is, He created the heavens and the earth and everything that's in them, and everything he created, he created perfectly and He remembers everything he created.
His most incredible creation is us. He loves us and remembers each and every one of his children who is away from Him for just a short time.
I know God is our loving Heavenly Father and that He loves us and nothing can ever separate us away from His love.
Happy New Year and remember I love you! I'd love to hear from you, send me an email or pictures! Have a great week and remember to put God first because he always puts you first
