Week 68
What is up everyone?
I hope you're all mad chillin, cause I am over here, in Los Jardines ya tu sabe
We had transfers this week and I'm back in the popey part of santiago yay!
I'm in Los Jardines in a trío yay! At first I wasn't super excited about my transfer news but now that I'm here, it's going to be fun! I'm with hermana Lewis and Hermana Guillaume! I adore them and I'm so excited to be their comps and to work harddd with them! This is probably my last area:( but I'm excited to make the best out of the next 10 weeks I have.
This week was crazyyy
On Tuesday we were up bright and early to take my comp to get her residency and I went on an exchange in Flamboyanes! We were in a quad for a day, so that was interesting and fun. We walked down this road and it was a full on river up to the knees, it was wild
Manuel was baptized on Thursday right before I left! His baptism was literally perfect. We planned it all the morning of and nothing was working out. No members could come and support.
But when we got there we had so much member support and so many investing friends. It was PERFECT.
I just got word from the hermanas who stayed in Jarabacoa that he could not make it to church this Sunday to be confirmed, so please please keep Manuel in your prayers.
I said my goodbyes to some of my favorite people. But in specific, Kirsy. I told her I was leaving and this lady cried. You had to rip me out of her arms. I love her. So much. Keep that blessed women in your prayers.
It was so so hard to say bye to Jarabacoa. It was such a blessed area and I am so grateful for the time I was able to serve in a little part of heaven.
Transfers is always a blast, so it was fun to see everyone!
I'm sure gonna miss Hermana Frizzell, she made such an impact on my life and I am forever grateful for her. Mi rubia taquerito cocacola sin azucar bestie.
On our way to our new house from transfers we tried to call an uber. But there was 3 girls and 6 suitcases and 2 backpacks. In a 5 seat car. We had 5 ubers pull in, look at all we had and just leave. But we ended up convincing one to take us home and we ended up squishing 3 of us in 3/4 of a seat home. Call me the ultimate packed. If you need help packing for a road trip, just give me a call.
I've only been in Los Jardines for 2 days but the ward rocks. On Sunday all the members were SO welcoming and soooo friendly, I'm so excited to work with them!
We had some really cool people show up to church, a few miracle people who just, showed up. They have never even met with the missionaries before and they came. What a miracle.
There are so many hatian friends here and hermana Guillaume speaks hatian so PERFECT! The Lord is so knowing exactly where each and every one of us needs to be, so we can bless His children in the way He wants. Andddd I'm gonna learn some hatian so I'm super excited about that!
We should be having a baptism this week for a little boy, Djelie! We have a LOT to teach him so keep him in your prayers.
There isn't much more to say about this area except keep our friends in your prayers!

Spiritual thought
Mosiah 3: 19
"For the natural man is an enemy to God, and has been from the fall of Adam, and will be, forever and ever, unless he yields to the enticings of the Holy Spirit, and putteth off the natural man and becometh a saint through the atonement of Christ the Lord, and becometh as a child, submissive, meek, humble, patient, full of love, willing to submit to all things which the Lord seeth fit to inflict upon him, even as a child doth submit to his father "
We need to become as little children through the atonement of our Savior Jesus Christ. Submissive. Meek. Humble. Patient. Full of love. Submissive to His will.
We are natural men, but we need to become as this scripture explains. As a little child. It sounds impossible and so so hard. But it's not. We can have our literal nature changed through the Atonement of Jesus Christ. Its simple. Just one word and one solution. JESUS!
He invites us to all come unto Him. I can't even count how many times Jesus says with his arms extended "Come unto me"
He invites us to come unto Him, repent, and He will change our very nature.
I witness that He lives. And that He loves us. And He is the only one who can change us.
I love you and i hope you have a fab week. Send me an email of the highlight of your week!
I'm constantly praying for you and remember to put God first!
