Week 73

Hey

We have transfers this week, I'm officially going into my last 4 weeks of the mission. I've been thinking a lot about how much I am going to miss this place.

Everything about it. The DR has grown a big place in my heart and I'm so grateful for the amazing experiences I have had here.

We had an exchange!! Hermana Brink came to our area with me and Lewis and we had a blast! All of our friends were acting a little more crazy than normal so that was interesting.

On our way back from our exchange I lost my plaque! So so sad!

That afternoon when we left to teach we got to our lesson and I realized I forgot to replace my lost plaque and then I looked at Hermana Guilmaume and she forgot her plaque as well hahaha

On Tuesday we were in a lesson and we got a call from the other hermanas we share a house with. They called us like 10 times from the bishops wifes phone in our lesson so we called them back urgently. They told us they left their phone and keys in the apartment. So we left and met them to lend them our keys. We got to them and we realized we locked our keys in the apartment as well. Soooo that was a tricky little situation, but thanks to the elderes de casa we got it all figured out.

We visited Sebastians aunt and she did not give him permision to be baptized, yet. He is so amazing and so so ready. Please keep him and his aunt in your prayers.

We went on an adventure one day and found human bones in a suitcase, it was terrifying haha

We saw a kid unpluck a dead bird with his bare hands, it was traumatic

It's officially baseball season here!!!!! I'm so so so so so so sooooo happyyyyy

I've been so tired lately but what a better reason than for the Lord!

Spiritual thought

I have been studying about the doctrine of baptism. How important it is.

John 3: 1-13

Baptism is a rebirth. A rebirth of spirit. We are born to this earth through blood water and the spirit. We are born unto God through the waters of baptism. The atoning blood of Christ. And receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost.

We are baptised by immersion for the remission of our sins. When we are baptised we take upon us the baptism covenant.

We are willing to take upon us the name of the Savior

We will keep his commandments

We will serve God and others

We will endure till the end

Being baptized by immersion also means being completely immersed in his gospel.

Making His will your will.

Making everything your life parallel to His path.

I know the only way to find lasting happiness is through His gospel, and an even better way is by being fully immersed in it. It is how we can feel His love the strongest and see His hand the most.

Remember your baptism covenant, and become immersed in this wonderful gospel.

I love you all. Have a great week and send me an email!! Remember to put God first <3
