Homecoming

Good morning brothers and sisters. It is such a pleasure to be here today speaking to you.  I feel like I was just up here a week ago giving my farewell talk.  My time serving in the Dominican Republic flew by and I am eternally grateful for the people I met, the experiences I had and the memories I made.  Over the last 18 months I have grown to love the people and the culture of the DR. I feel like my time is running out. My mission is wrapping up.  We have seen miracle after miracle this week. I've never seen the Lords hand so much.  A few miracles from this week. We have the cutest couple, Renel and Wesland. They were sooooo awesome and wanted to be baptized but it was imposible for them to be married and therefore be baptized so we had to stop teaching them.  Renel, the husband ended up just barely moving to the states and his wife and son are here while he is providing for them.  We sent Renels records to the missionaries in Florida and he is getting baptized!! Super happy for him! But even better is that we went to go teach his wife Wesland and she told us they both want to be baptized, and they are planning on doing it the same day, so they can make this step of progression together, as they said. I'm so so excited for them to be an eternal family. Wesland gave us her testimony this week.  She told us before we started visiting them they ...
