Week 76

I feel like my time is running out. My mission is wrapping up.
We have seen miracle after miracle this week. I've never seen the Lords hand so much.

A few miracles from this week.

We have the cutest couple, Renel and Wesland. They were sooooo awesome and wanted to be baptized but it was imposible for them to be married and therefore be baptized so we had to stop teaching them.
Renel, the husband ended up just barely moving to the states and his wife and son are here while he is providing for them.
We sent Renels records to the missionaries in Florida and he is getting baptized!!
Super happy for him!
But even better is that we went to go teach his wife Wesland and she told us they both want to be baptized, and they are planning on doing it the same day, so they can make this step of progression together, as they said. I'm so so excited for them to be an eternal family.
Wesland gave us her testimony this week.
She told us before we started visiting them they couldn't even afford chairs, but ever since they have seen miracles and they first bought 2 chairs for the missionaries and now they have 4 chairs and a table. All because of the gospel. She told us she loves the gospel and is so grateful for it with tears in her eyes.
I learned from her that God has a greater plan. They aren't living together right now, but only so God can make it possible for them to become an eternal family. Trials and learning bring eternal blessings.

Fredly is my favorite person in the Domincan Republic. We had to switch his baptism for next Saturday, but I have never seen the gospel bring so much light into someone's life.
His best friend is Jesus and every time we stop by to share, he starts to glow.
Goodness gracias I love this gospel, I love Jesus.

We had a lesson with a group of friends. There were 12 of them gathered around under the flower tree learning about God. Such special moments. The spirit was so strong.

We had zone conference! It was SUPER uplifting!!
We learned a little more about how to teach simple and clear.
But my favorite part when Presidente Bretón did an activity at the end, he said "think of something you want"
Then he said "council with the lord about it" and then after your prayer, get to work.
We can't just sit around waiting for miracles to happen, we can't just sit around waiting, there isn't enough time. After we say amen, we get up and go to work, so God can work miracles through our diligence.

ok can we talk about general conference?
SO AMAZING. SO UPLIFTING. SO FULL OF REVELATION. Send me what was your favorite talk and why!
My favorite talk was by Elder Uchtdorf when he spoke about Joy and the true source, the true fountain of our joy.
Our purpose on earth it to have Joy. It is everything our Heavenly Father desires of us! He is cheering us on the way and provided a loving Savior as well to help us make it back to live in his loving presence.
I know our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ have an infinite eternal love for us because they are infinite and loving. As we follow Christ we will be in the path that leads to eternal joy.

Pray for Hervé, William, Wenguel, and Fredly!

I hope you all have a fabulous week
I'll see you in a quick 11 days ah!
Remember God loves you and to keep Him first!
