hellooo what's up I hope everyone had a fabulous Thanksgiving week. I literally love you all so much This was probably one of the most hardworking and successful weeks that I've had my entire mission. I saw the Lords hand more than I can even count  so many miracles  so much love so much gratitude  It was Thanksgiving this week. Since I'm in the DR, I didn't think we would celebrate. Only if I attempted to make a turkey and a pie, but that's quite literally impossible in a Dominican oven.  but  we have these amazing members in our ward the Williams  Hermano Williams is from Georgia and married a Dominican and they both spent most of their life living in the states and decided to retire here.  They invited us over and we had an American FEAST. It sounds silly because it's just a meal. It's just a holiday. But it meant so much to us all. I felt like a had a family here.  My gratitude was so strong.  90% of the time this week we ended up sprinti...

Heyyy what's up? We has transfers this week so it was a little bit crazy.  So I'm out of Villa Olga and onto Jarabacoa. I ended up loving Villa Olga even though it was a very hard area, it will forever forever forever have a place in my heart.  But hey the mission is all about changing. So onto Jarabacoa. It's an area in the mountains and so far I LOVE IT It's beautiful.  The air is fresh. The people are so humble and willing to listen. I'M SO EXCITED  The people here say that is snows, (they mean there is dew on the grass in the morning) but HEY I'll take it!!! To be honest I miss this snow and the cold so much and I just know God sent me here because it's the closet to snow I can get.  I literally wore a sweater to church on Sunday because it was a brisk 70°  It was awesome Anywayssss I will stop talking about the weather haha On Thursday my last night in Villa Olga there was a conference for all the recent converts who have been baptized in the last thre...

Heyy this week flew  This transfer flew Time is absolutely flying our here, I can't even believe it.  I don't even know what happened this week, it was so much and so fast, it's hard to keep track! On Monday we went over to a members house and she made us a Hatian dish called legume.  It was so good and actually tasted. (In my opinion Domincan food doesn't taste so it was fun to try something different) it was spicyyy. And she gave us a gigantic amount.  We left and both of our stomaches started to expand and we looked pregnant for about 2 days. It was a horrible experience and I can't even look at legume without feeling sick but it was fun hahaha On Tuesday we had a text from the hermana leaders and they wanted to do an exchange. So Wednesday morning at 10 we swapped and I headed over to Franboyanes with Hermana Monson. She has a lot of time in the mission so it was so fun to learn from her. It was also so good to get out of my area for a day and see a different pa...

weyyy klk a todos  This week was LIT We saw so many miracles guys  On August 13, 13 weeks ago, Hermana Ramirez and I contacted this lady in the street and told her that God has a divine plan for her. On November 4, 2023 she made her first covenant with God.  It was Monday, we looked at Jenny's profile in the areabook and started a plan for her. We had to teach her not just 1 commandment but we had to teach her many many things. We made a plan and hustled our booties to help her understand and help her to apply these principles and see the miracles these things can bring into our lives.  We had faith that the Lord would prepare her mind and help her to accept these principles. she. accepted. every. one. Without a doubt in her mind. On Friday as we were waiting for the district leader to interview her, she pulled out her Book of Mormon and started to read as she waited.  The leader told us she is completely converted unto her Savior.  Shout out to everyone an...
