Week 48

Hey! I hope you are all going great!  This week was chill and fast and not really much happened. But we had interviews with president this week and he said to me "mi hija" which means my daughter so apparently pres loves me. But it was a really good interview he basically told me that we needed to drop all of our friends and find new ones because nobody is progressing, so we dropped over 40 people and we started to findddd! The next morning we went out and found 6 people and they all wanted to hear our message! The Lord is working behind the scenes in all of our life's.  My comp decided she wants to start running, so we run everyday in our parking lot and I've never been happier and my mom sent me a pull up bar, so catch me being shredded when I get home. Also I am sick of the youth music so I now run listening to church talks hahaha. Our friend Samantha, he's from India and is Buddhist, and we taught him on Saturday and it was so cool and difficult to even know w...

Week 47

This week was honestly so good and went by so so fast! We saw lots of miracles, God really works in the cracks. We have a friend, his name is Crusito. He works as a security guard for an apartment building and we are teaching him. He's so cool. BUT the coolest thing about him is he gives us references of everyone in the apartment building where he works. He introduced us to our new best friend Anet. And a few weeks ago he intoduced us to his friend Samantha. Anet She's 19 and she's the coolest person ever and we had the most spiritual lesson with her on Tuesday. Like the classic Dominicans we were sitting on the side of the road in plastic chairs talking about Jesus. We shared about the story in Mark 5, when Jesus healed the women who had an uncurable blood condition but she had faith and reached out to Christ and he healed her. Guys... she literally started crying and then our security guard friend Crusito started crying, and then we all just got teary eyed. It was so beau...

Hola hola cómo están? Hey hey how's everyone doing? I hope you are all doing so so good and I just want you to all know I miss you so much! This week was so speedy!  And not anything really special happened. It definitely was a little bit of a harder week but with God anythings possible. But I saw a few wonderful miracles. Uur friend Jenny. She told us she wanted to go to church but she only had money to get to church, not to get back home. But she took a step of faith and God worked out the rest of the details like He always does.  We had zone conference and it was so so good. The thing that stuck most with me was becoming a disciple of Jesus Christ, not just a missionary. We also talked about keeping the end in mind as missionaries and our goal as missionaries is to baptize people who are converted to Jesus Christ. It was a really good conference. Then the senior missionaries made peanut butter bars and they reminded me of my dad, bittersweet. On Sunday we had stake conferen...

Week 45

Heyyy! This week was fire and full of work!!! Being a missionary is so tiring and so hard but its so fullfilling and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else right now. Some miracles and highlights... This week I swear everytime I opened my eyes God was throwing a new miracle at us. When we basically whitewashed this area it was so hard, we had nobody progressing. We have prayed and worked really hard and this week we saw the fruits of our efforts. God truly does bless us for putting in effort.  Ok onto the highlights.  This week God helped us pull a whole fam to church. A mom and 3 teenagers!!! They live SO far from the church but they made the sacrifice and came with faith. Afterwards they told us they loved it. It was the greatest miracle ever and I know God is in every detail. we also pulled 6 recent converts to church so that was incredible. I ate pineapple for the first time in 10 months and my legs got hives all over them, so apparently I'm now alergic, rip. We put two peopl...
