Hellooo! I hope you all had a great week! I hit one year this week!  It has been the most incredible year of my whole life.  I've grown so much and I've learned so much.  I wouldn't take this year back for anything.  I am so excited for what the next 6 months hold! Oh my goodness this week was so incredible with so many miracles and it absolutely flew by. On Saturday it was National Service Day for the church so we went and cleansed a park with our ward and it was so much fun, it reminded me of doing yard work at home and believe it or not, I miss doing yard chores. haha  It rained a ton this week, it's officially rainy season and I am loving it! During one of the rainstorms my comp was wearing these shoes that she didn't want to get wet, so she took them off and walked barefoot in the street hahaha, she is crazy. hola! ¿cómo están? espero que estén bien <3 This week absolutely flew by but at the same time is was so slow, but every single day was full of a new adventure and I'm so grateful I am able to have the experiences I am having and  am learning the things I am learning. Thank you to everyone who is helping to make it happen :) There is a new park in our area and since it's new it's always busy, but on Tuesday it was a down pour and nobody goes to the park when it's raining. So since it was empty when we passed it, we most definitely took a pitstop and laughed our hearts outs, swinging in the rain for a few minutes.  We had zone conference this week and it was so so good to see all my friends and be able to learn how I can improve personally as a missionary. It was such a motivational conference.  We had so many fire lessons this week. Heyy! I hope you are all amazing!! Another crazy and fast week in the mission down!  We had so many spirit filled lessons this week but let me share my favorite. It was with members. They have been in the church for 30 years now and they shared their conversion stories.  The story of brother Díaz stuck out to me. At the time he was living in Florida. He was at work one day and they were in a work meeting. Someone asked "who is God" and it got brother Díaz thinking. Later on in the week he went and talked to his colleague who asked this question. Tis colleague was gifted a Book of Mormon from one of his friends who was a member and he decided to regift it to brother Díaz. He read the whole book through in 3 days and gained a testimony that this book was true and that this church was true. He then moved back to his home in Venezuela and never got in contact with the missionaries but continued reading the Book of Mormon. S few years later he moved again and was in his house thin...

Hey everyone! How are you doing?  This week we had transfers so it was a little bit crazy! My cute comp Hrmn Ramirez went to Licey, I will forever miss her, we became best friends throughout our 10 weeks together.  But this week I recieved Hrmn Mejía! She is from the capital so I'm back to a Domincan comp and I'm so excited for this next transfer, I can just tell we are going to have a lot of fun.  I've officially become best friends with the hrmns we share a house with. Hrmn Cox is my best friend and I'm so grateful for the mission and for all the lifelong friends I am making.  We had some amazing lessons this week. We read 3 Nephi 11 with a few friends and the spirit was incredibly strong, there is not a better feeling than the spirit filling the entire room.  It was October 3rd this week and in tribute of the movie "mean girls" our whole house wore pink. Hey! Happy spooky season everyone!  So can we talk about conference?? It was incredible right?? Everyone send me your favorite talk and why you loved it!! This week was so fast and it was the last week of the transfer! We recieve transfer news on Wednesday nightttt so we will see what happens! Our ward went to the temple last Saturday and they offered to pick us up some Book of Mormons since our mission has zero so I went on a splurge of personal money and bought like 15, but I think it was for a good cause.  On Tuesday our apartment lost electricity so we took a trip to the church to take our meat and put it in the freezer, because the last time we did not think of that and boy did we regret it. The last time we had raw chicken alllll over our freezer, it was horrible to say the least. So this time we planned ahead, grabbed all our meat, cheese, and that's it because dairy here doesn't go bad when it's warm. So we walked all our food over to the church and ate from the c...
