Week 61

Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful week! This week was super crazy but super amazing! We had a our Christmas party as a mission! It was so incredible and I learned so much.  President talked a lot about the atonement of Jesus Christ. Something he said that blew my mind was that Christ felt everything that we went through but we still feel some pain. Why is that? So we can use His atonement. So we can rely on Him.  We had an exchange! I got to be with my bestie Hrmn Micheli and show her around my area. It was so much fun and I just love her so much! Since we has so much going on this week my comp and I were finally back together in our area on Friday and then on Saturday I got sick. I had a 101.8° fever hahaha but we saw so many miracles from home over the phone on Saturday. It was super efficient since everyone is on vacation. We ended up putting 2 people on date over phone calls! So that was awesome to see  God's plan work out perfectly. Maybe I had...

Week 60

i can't even with this week it was absolutely insane a bunch of missionaries are being sent home 2 weeks before this transfer ends so they can be with their families for Christmas.  so there was a huge emergency transfer and I was a part of it Wednesday night, we got home from a successful day in the field and were just winding down for the night and then the assistants called us they explained that Thursday morning Hermana Paul would be leaving the area and I would be receiving Hermana Frizzell!  Hermana Paul packed until 11:30pm and we were up and out of the house at 5:45am. We drove to La Vega and picked up my CUTE compy! She's been out for 5 months! I already love her SO much!  God is really putting his trust in my Spanish skills but it's going to be so fun to spend Christmas with her! She's the first non native comp I've had in about 9 months so we are going to have some serious fun.  BUTTT our friends are doing SO good we put 3 new people on date Wanda and Sam...

BEST WEEK EVER full of struggles  but we pushed through, worked hard, and miracles came!! satan works hard but we work harder God is good God is love God is full of miracles  I literally want to tell you guys everything that happened, but that would make this email a book where to start?? We worked HARD, probably the hardest I've worked my entire mission and I'm absolutely exhausted but it was so worth it.  God provided miracles for our hard work. I was sick againnn. Not quite sure what's going on but maybe it's because the temperature is in the high 70s and not the 100s but we pushed through and I feel tons betterrrr. One day we were VERY hungry in the streets at like 7 so I bought an empenada from a colmado. This is where I made a mistake.  I KNOW those empenadas sit on the counter in a container for a week without being refrigerated. Eating one of those is asking to get stomach sick.  But it sounded SO good so I bought it and I enjoyed it.  Will i ever d...

heyyy! klk a todos?  i love you all SO much, my heart can't even express it. i hope you are all enjoying this amazing Christmas season. This was an interesting week full of learning and full of growth and patience.  One of my highlights are the mornings here. The sunrise every morning is so beautiful and the air is freshhh, it's the best time of day. The mission has turned me into a morning person. Our downstairs neighbors have a chicken, so that's fun. He almost walks into our apartment everyday. But the solution is simple, you just have to chase him back down the stairs. I was deadly sick this week but hey we still worked our booties off and hit our goals. My comp was also run over by a literal motorcycle while crossing the street, so she's got a big ole burn on her leg. Let's just say, it was a week. but still a week full of success. I went running one day for exercise this week. oh. my. gosh. i miss it the fresh air, the freedom, the runners high.  it was incred...
