Week 70

what a great week full of unexpected calls from the asistance.  The work is going good here in Los Jardines! Keep our friends in your prayers please. We have found some amazing friends who have had the faith to come to church. Pray they can take the next step in being baptized.  Sebastian  Bibi  Royer Wandel Wilbens Maken Dieunel  Djonia Danilo Santiana Saskya Let me tell you about our boy gang Sebastian, bibi, royer, and kelvin. They are THE greatest. A group of 10 year old boys who want to follow Jesus. Our lessons with them are full of question and the spirit. We love our boy gang.  It was a crazy week. On Tuesday Hermana Lewis left us to be with another hermana until Thurday and then on Friday left to Santo Domingo to get her residency. So basically that left me and Guilmaume to work together in the new area alone. We got lost a few times but we found our way around. We also were in a trío with Hermana Velasquez (on of my favorite people ever) on Friday...

Heyyy everyone! How's it going? I hope you are all doing so great and had the best Valentine's Day ever!  We had such a fun Valentine's Day, and I'm so grateful for my comps and the love they shared with me.  So I actually had my entire email written out and ready to send, and it deleted. Bummer. Anyways this week was great and so much fun, full of joy and laughter.  So little miracle story. Ever since I got transferred to this area, I had not been able to find my ruler I always use to mark in my scriptures. I found a scripture I loved and wanted to mark it. So I prayed, and about 3 seconds later, I picked up my scriptures, and it was sitting underneath them. I had picked up my scriptures at least 50 times since getting to this new area, and the ruler was never there. This is just a little reminder that God always listens to and answers our prayers.  I'm learning a little bit of Creole because Hermana Guillaume is from Haiti. This week, during a lesson, our friend a...

We were in a quad for a day, so that was interesting and fun. We walked down this road and it was a full on river up to the knees, it was wild Manuel was baptized on Thursday right before I left! Another week down! Only a few more to go! How are you all? Know I'm constantly praying for you and if you need anything, message me, I would love to help!  This week was super fast but the days were super slow. And now it's the last week of the transfer! We have changes so I'll get you updated for what happens next week!  Manuel is on date for this Wednesday. He is SO awesome and readily and happily accepts everything we teach him. When we teach him we end up teaching him, his sister, his neighbors and ALL of his extended family. We had a lesson of 15 people. It was so incredible. Adults participating, children sitting on the ground reverently listing and neighbors walking into the house to hear the word of God. The people here are so humble and reliant on God, its beautiful.  Our friend Raul is on date for this Sunday! He is so so cool and needs all the prayers he can get!  It was fast Sunday. We wanted to make cookies for our recent converts, Jesus and Innocia. On ...
