Week 74

We had transfers. Since we are a trio we were 100% sure we were getting split up.  Let me paint you a picture of how Wednesday night went (transfer news night) we moved all 5 of our matresses into the main room. We were sitting on our beds waiting for transfer news. The other hermanas got their news. My companions and I were still waiting for ours. Hermana Guillaumes came, but she waited to read hers until everyone in the companionship got it. Then we all read it silently together. I was the last one to see the news. I looked at my comps and they were both smiling. Once we found out we were staying together we jumped onto Guillaumes bed hugging and smiling.  I'm so excited to work the next 4 weeks of my mission with them. Such a blessing that God is keeping us together!  I'm going to try to keep this short because my emails somehow always turn into a novel but I want to share some miracles!! We saw SUCH a huge miracle with Sebastian!!!  Things are going slow but good...

Hey We have transfers this week, I'm officially going into my last 4 weeks of the mission. I've been thinking a lot about how much I am going to miss this place. Everything about it. The DR has grown a big place in my heart and I'm so grateful for the amazing experiences I have had here.  We had an exchange!! Hermana Brink came to our area with me and Lewis and we had a blast! All of our friends were acting a little more crazy than normal so that was interesting. On our way back from our exchange I lost my plaque! So so sad!  That afternoon when we left to teach we got to our lesson and I realized I forgot to replace my lost plaque and then I looked at Hermana Guilmaume and she forgot her plaque as well hahaha On Tuesday we were in a lesson and we got a call from the other hermanas we share a house with. They called us like 10 times from the bishops wifes phone in our lesson so we called them back urgently. They told us they left their phone and keys in the apartment. So we...

klk a todos  i love you all SO much I know I say this everytime, but only because it's true. This week flew by and was full of some crazyyyy experiences and full of God's hand in the work in every moment.  where do i even start Let's start on Monday, after pday. It was my second birthday in the field, it was such a great day, but a second birthday without my mom's birthday cake was a little sad. I was feeling a little homesick. But God didn't let me feel like that for long. We went to our first appointment at 6:30. Our appointment was with the boy gang. We were walking down the street, approaching their house, and the boys come running down the street with party blower horns and happy birthday glasses screaming at me and eventually gave me a pile of hugs. I've never felt so loved. But the love doesn't end there. We start our lesson singing "I am a child of God" and shared a quick little message. The boy gang is so so smart and have such a desire to...

I just want to express my gratitude for this country I've been able to serve in the past 16 months and the people I have been able to serve and those I serve with.  They have all left a mark on my heart This week has been so good. So fun. So fast. So joyful.  Let's start off with the first highlight.  I came to the DR with a few bucket list goals and I completed one this week. I met a professional baseball player. He pitched for the dodgers. His name is Jackson Mateo. Also got his signature on an agenda paper #score We did service for the bishops wife this week. We showed up with 6 hands ready t...
