Heyy whats upp everyone! I hope you are all doing so good, I miss you all like crazy I feel like every facebook post I see someone just got their mission call, they got engaged, got married, or had a kid. So if any of those apply to you, congratulations!! hahaha But another week in the mission down, just living life over here in the DR. Update on the heat, its not as hot in Villa Olga as it was in Puerto Plata so that's a biggg win! This week seriously just flew by, I guess it's true that time flies by when you're having fun! Let's just start off with our house is broken hahaha our toilet doesn't work and the other hermanas bathroom has a waterfall running from their ceiling.  We've spent a lot of time studying in the stairwell this week while the plumbers were attempting to fix the problems hahaha. One night I walked into the hall near the hermanas bathroom and I didn't realize we had a pool set up in the hallway! I slipped and not even kidding almost broke...

This was last week! Not sure why it didn't send but enjoy!!  How's it the end of June?? Someone explain it to me please, time is just flying by! I hope you are all doing great and enjoying the fun summer months!  This week was so so fast and so much fun and I had so many interesting experiences that I would have never experienced if I wasn't here, so let's get into it!!! We went to the church on Saturday morning, and we unlock it and walk in and get set up to do some phone calls. About 5 minutes later the alarms start going off, yikes I forgot to turn off the alarm. We walk over to the alarm and I have absolutely no idea what the password is, so we call the elders we share a ward with and they didn't know the password either and they told us the alarm will go off for about 3 more minutes but then it'll just stop and nothing will happen. Well they were right about one part, the alarm stopped. But about 10 minutes later the police and the stake president come roll...

Hola a todos klk I hope you are all doing fabulous and btw i love you allllll I wanted to start my email off saying happy Father's Day to all the amazing fathers out there, thank you for all you do for your families and for your communities. For Father's Day yesterday I was thinking of all the amazing men who have stepped into my life and played a role as dad for me. Happy Father's Day to my dad, my brothers, my incredible grandpa, uncle Roger and uncle Sean, my extended family, the most Christlike neighbors who always are there to help, and everybody else who has ever played the role of a father in my life. But today I decided to focus on my Heavenly Father, the father of us all. He truly loves us more than we will ever know and I'm so grateful to feel His love everyday. I truly know that He knows us each individually, even more than we know ourselves, He knows best how to help us. All we need to do is trust in Him and His plan. My week Some fun quick highlights. We le...

Heyooo  This week wasn't super interesting, just lots of walking, teaching and sweating!! Did I mention its hot here, like really hot  On Friday afternoon, my comp looks at the phone and told me I wasn't going to be happy with what she just saw.  Well we got a text from bishop asking us to speak this Sunday. Ay mi madre, usually if I was at home I would try my hardest to get out of this horrifying situation, but there was no way out so I decided to deal with it hahaha even though I was terrified plus it had to be in spanish cause I'm in the DR an nobody speaks english haha. Since he texted us Friday afternoon we only had 1 hour of personal study and 1 hour during lunch to prepare. Ayayay, well lets just say it all worked out in the long run and when we trust in God, follow his spirit and His plan, all will be ok! Not going to lie, the work this week was a little rough, most days this week, all of our lessons fell through, including our back up lessons. So we contacted ton...

This week was work work work!! So so good!! We have a couple of great friends progressing!! 1. Miguel He is on date to be baptized on the 24th of June! He is so amazing and loves church and loves God so much! Everyone keep him in your prayers! 2. Raele  My bestie!! He's a nine year old boy and has the most faith I've ever seen!! He's on date for the 17th! We have a fun little handshake and everytime I see him he gives me the biggest hug and then we do our handshake!  He's one of the biggest examples of Christlike love. He loves everyone, everybody he meets, it doesn't matter who they are or what they are like, he just loves everyone as Jesus would! 3. Samuel  He's the coolest person I've ever met. He's a tigre but a soft tigre! (a tigre is kind of like a gangster)...
